Studio HENK is a conscious Dutch design brand that makes beautiful and functional furniture to last a lifetime. By taking circular design to heart, their customisable and made-to-order pieces are designed in-house and produced in Europe. The brand has ambitious plans to revolutionise the furniture industry from within to become fully zero waste.

Founder Story
Studio HENK was founded in 2013 by Dutch brothers Okke and Xander. When Okke (Founder & CEO) and his wife Corine (Head of Sustainability) couldn’t find fair-priced, high-quality, beautifully crafted furniture for their home, they asked Xander (Founder & Creative Director) to design it for them. The dining table he designed using reclaimed wood from old Amsterdam canal houses in Amsterdam was an immediate hit, and before they knew it, Studio HENK was born.

While the business grew, so did the realisation that the furniture industry severely impacts the planet. In 2021, Studio HENK introduced its vision for a zero-waste furniture industry and made it its mission to create beautiful furniture that is circular by design and lasts a lifetime.
